GRNNC is a women’s social club, with a nominal annual membership fee.  The Club hosts a variety of Activities each month, two annual luncheons and several special events throughout the year.  Activities include book clubs, needlecraft and sewing groups, local day travel group, wine tasting, dinner groups, etc.  Most activities are held during the day.  There are several activity groups (wine tasting, dinner group) meeting in the evening.  Members pay their own expense for luncheons, dinners, local travel.  Non-members may attend an activity once or twice before being asked to become a member.  Members may invite guests to dinners, luncheons, and special events at their own expense.

Our next luncheon will be held at the Belmont Country Club, Belmont VA on Wednesday,

May 18, 2011.  Following lunch and entertainment is our Installation Ceremony of the new Executive Board.  Members are encouraged to bring guests.  Members and their guests cover their own luncheon expense.  

 

Prospective members are invited to attend our monthly, “Get Acquainted Coffee”.  Coffees are attended by current and new members and are a great way to learn more about our Club and meet our wonderful members.  The next Coffee is scheduled for Wednesday, April 13, 2011 for more information please telephone 571-203-9161 for more information.

 

Each month we hold a General Meeting.  March’s meeting will be held in St John Neumann’s Church, Lawyers Road, Reston at 10:00AM Thursday, March 17.  Following each meeting, we have a program.  This month’s program features:

 

Juanita Balenger, Director of TRIAD & Community Outreach for Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, will be our guest speaker for March.  She will be speaking to us on the top 10 frauds and scams reported to the Attorney General’s Office.  We will learn the warning signs of these schemes and ways to protect ourselves.  This presentation includes resource material and contact information to take home.
