Welcome to the Women's Club of Greater Reston

Interested in WCGR? Please send an email to: contact@wcgr.org

The Women’s Club of Greater Reston is a women’s social and civic club recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)7 tax-exempt organization. WCGR was started back in 1969 as a newcomers’ club with several name changes over the years and the current one - Women's Club of Greater Reston - was settled on in 2012. We continue to welcome both new and longtime residents of Reston (married, single, divorced, widowed, retired, etc.) and surrounding towns to promote friendship through participation in various recreational and civic activities.

We have a variety of activities to offer our members: Book Clubs, Bridge Groups, Mah Jongg, Canasta, Local Travel, Breakfast Group, BUNKO, Art Group. etc. We also have social events - like a Holiday and Spring Luncheon, for example - throughout the year. Most activities take place in a member's home, a community space or local restaurant. We encourage members to start up new activities that would be of interest to members. Members pay their own expenses for travel, lunch, etc.
